COLLEGE OF ECONOMICS, TECHNOLOGY AND TECHNOLOGY SOULFULLY HELD THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
On the morning of September 5, 2025, in the jubilant atmosphere of the National Ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the education sector’s tradition and the opening of the new school year 2025-2026, the College of Economics, Technology and Engineering solemnly organized a rebroadcast of the Opening Ceremony of the school year 2025-2026 at Training Facility No. 3. The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, members of the Board of Directors, the School Board of Management, representatives of professional departments, lecturers, staff, and a large number of students and new students. In particular, the ceremony also had the presence of representatives of businesses, partners and outstanding alumni.
Opening speech: Arousing the desire to rise
At the beginning of the ceremony, the representative of the School Board of Management sent greetings for the new school year to all students, lecturers and staff. The speech emphasized the development orientation and some specific goals of the school in the 2025-2026 school year as follows: Strengthening the application of information technology in teaching, innovating training programs associated with business practices and paying more attention to developing vocational skills for students.
Speech of the Chairman of the Board of Directors: “We do not only train vocational skills, but also train brave people”
At the ceremony, Mr. Le Tuan Sang – Chairman of the Board of Directors, gave an inspirational speech, sending a profound message to students:
“The College of Economics, Technology and Engineering is not only a place to impart professional knowledge, but also a place to nurture aspirations, train courage and innovation. In the context of digital transformation and digital economic development today, we aim not only to provide vocational training, but also to train global citizens, ready to adapt and lead change.”
He also affirmed his commitment to long-term companionship with students through many policies to support study, internship, start-up and job search after graduation.
Announcing the Student Talent Scholarship Fund and the Study Encouragement Fund worth 1 BILLION VND
Within the framework of the ceremony, Mr. Le Tuan Sang officially announced the establishment of the “Student Talent Scholarship Fund” and “Study Encouragement Fund” with a total value of up to 1,000,000,000 VND (one billion VND). The Fund was established with the goal of:
– Encouraging students with good academic performance, excellent research and creativity;
– Supporting students in difficult circumstances;
– Motivating students to actively participate in social activities, youth movements, start-ups and innovation.
Expanding international cooperation – connecting globally
A special highlight in the 2025-2026 school year goal of the College of Economics, Technology and Engineering is to promote cooperation with domestic and foreign educational institutions and enterprises, in order to expand opportunities for studying abroad, paid internships and exporting highly skilled labor for students.
The school is currently cooperating closely with many prestigious international partners in Japan, Korea, Germany, Australia and Taiwan to implement the following programs:
– Study abroad for final year students or after graduation, with many financial support packages.
– Skill internship abroad: Students can participate in internships from 6 months to 1 year at international enterprises with attractive living support and income.
– Exporting highly skilled labor, especially in the following industries: engineering, restaurants – hotels, information technology… etc. with a clear, transparent roadmap and continuous consultation and support.
With an ever-expanding network of partners, students of the College of Economics, Technology and Engineering can choose diverse development paths after graduation, not only working in Vietnam but also studying and working in developed countries, opening the door to a brighter future.
Closing a beginning – Opening a new journey
The opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year took place successfully, ending with a solemn flag-raising ceremony. This is not only a festival to welcome new students, but also a milestone marking the determination to innovate, create and develop sustainably of the College of Economics, Technology and Engineering in the journey of training high-quality human resources for the country.
